The Applecross Landscape Partnership Scheme
seeks to conserve and promote the natural and cultural heritage of some of Scotland's most scenic landscape.


Applecross has a strong Gaelic history and its outstanding cultural and religious heritage provides a high concentration of archaeological and historical sites of interest. It is also home to a network of thriving local communities. The area's mountains, beaches, woodlands, lochs and rivers offer unparalleled opportunities to see many rarer forms of wildlife, including otters, golden eagles, sea eagles, seals and dolphins, and is a superb centre for outdoor activities.
